A Radar Level Indicator (RLI) is a type of measurement instrument that uses radar technology to determine the level of a material (usually liquids or solids) inside a container or tank. This technology works based on the principle of electromagnetic waves.

How it works:

1. Transmission of Radar Waves: The Radar Level Indicator sends out a radar wave toward the surface of the material being measured.

2. Reflection: When the radar wave hits the surface of the material (e.g., liquid or solid), part of the wave is reflected back to the sensor.

3. Time Measurement: The RLI measures the time it takes for the radar waves to travel from the sensor to the surface and back. The level of the material is determined by calculating this time interval.

4. Processing: The device then processes this information and provides an accurate level measurement, often displayed digitally.
